Poster "Murat Staircase" - Élysée x Maison Sarah Lavoine

Architectural elegance.

The Maison Sarah Lavoine Creation Studio reinterprets the essence of the historic salons of the Élysée through three illustrations: the Murat Staircase, the Salon Doré and the Salle des Fêtes.

The originals were made in gouache, then entrusted to a Parisian fine arts workshop for a series of limited edition prints.

This illustration is inspired by the main staircase of the Élysée Palace, leading to the President's office. Its gilded lead banister shows typically Empire style ornamentation, with palm-shaped bars springing from olive wreaths and a handrail representing a torus of foliage.
