“Summer Giveaway – A Summer in the Basque Country”

Article I: Purpose

This giveaway contest, hereinafter referred to as the “Giveaway”, is organized by ARBORESHOP, a simplified joint-stock company with share capital of €10,000, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 887 548 311, whose registered office is located at 84 rue de Patay – 75013 Paris, hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”, operator of the official Élysée – Presidency of the French Republic boutiques, publisher of the website https://boutique.elysee.fr/, contactable at contact@boutique.elysee.fr.

The Giveaway is organized as part of the operation entitled “A Summer in the Basque Country”, in partnership with Hôtel de la Plage Biarritz, hereinafter referred to as the “Partner”. The purpose of the Giveaway is notably to promote the craftsmanship and appeal of the Basque Country by offering a stay at Hôtel de la Plage for two people.

The Presidency of the French Republic / Maison Élysée, as well as the @maisonelysee account, do not organize this Giveaway and cannot be held liable in this respect. They act solely as communication relays and/or access points to the questionnaire, via QR code, and to these rules within Maison Élysée.

The Giveaway is open from 10/07/2026 to 30/08/2026 inclusive, Paris time.
The prize draw will take place within 48 hours following the closing of the Giveaway.

Article II: Participation

Art. 2.1 Conditions

Participation in the Giveaway is free, with no purchase obligation and no obligation to subscribe to a newsletter.

The Giveaway is open to any natural person of legal age, residing in mainland France, including Corsica, with an Internet connection and a valid email address and/or valid mobile phone number.

All persons who have directly or indirectly contributed to the organization, promotion and/or execution of the Giveaway are excluded from participation.

Participation is strictly personal: a participant may not enter on behalf of a third party.

Only one entry per person is authorized throughout the duration of the Giveaway, identified by the same email address and/or the same mobile phone number. In the event of multiple entries, only one entry may be retained.

Any incomplete, late, non-compliant or fraudulent entry, or any entry submitted in a form other than that provided for, will be considered void.

Art. 2.2 Entry procedure

To enter the Giveaway, the participant must:

1. Go to the page: https://boutique.elysee.fr/fr/content/33-concours-ete-au-pays-basque
2. Provide their contact details: surname, first name, email address and phone number;
3. Answer the questions asked;
4. Confirm their entry by accepting these Official Rules.

The questionnaire is accessible:

• Via a link sent to subscribers of the Élysée – Official Boutique Newsletter and via Instagram @elyseeboutiqueofficielle;
• At Maison Élysée, 88 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, 75008 Paris, via a QR code to be scanned during opening hours.

Optional checkboxes allow participants, if they wish, to subscribe to the Élysée – Official Boutique newsletter and/or receive information from the Partner. Refusing these subscriptions has no impact on participation or chances of winning.

An entry is considered valid if it is:

• Submitted during the Giveaway period;
• Complete, with all mandatory fields filled in and an email address and/or phone number enabling the participant to be contacted;
• Submitted in accordance with these Official Rules.

Any incomplete, incorrect, non-compliant or fraudulent entry, or any entry submitted in a form other than that provided for, will be considered void.

Article III: Prize

3.1 Prize details

This Giveaway includes a prize with a total value of €326 including VAT, consisting of an overnight stay at Hôtel de la Plage de Biarritz, including:

Hôtel de la Plage de Biarritz offers a stay for two people at Hôtel de la Plage Biarritz, including:

• One night in a Standard Ocean Room for two people;
• Breakfast for two people;
• One glass of champagne per person to enjoy on the hotel’s rooftop.

Value of the stay offered by Hôtel de la Plage de Biarritz: €326 including VAT.

The winner is solely responsible for organizing their transport and, where applicable, any rental arrangements, including rental company conditions, security deposit, insurance, compliance with traffic regulations, damage, excess, return of the vehicle, etc. The Organizer is not involved in the contractual relationship between the winner and the carrier, rental company or car-sharing service.

The dates of the stay are to be agreed with Hôtel de la Plage de Biarritz, with contact arranged through the Organizer.

3.2 Conditions of use – costs remaining payable

The prize is valid from the date of receipt of the winner confirmation email and for one year, subject to availability. Bookings are subject to availability at Hôtel de la Plage de Biarritz.

The tourist tax, as well as all personal expenses and services not expressly included in the prize, including drinks, extras, etc., remain payable by the winner.

The prizes may not be refunded, exchanged or compensated in any form whatsoever. They are transferable, provided that the Partner, Hôtel de la Plage Biarritz, is notified.

Article IV: Winner selection

4.1 Prize draw

A prize draw among the valid entries will be carried out using the service https://www.tirage-au-sort.net/nombre-aleatoire within 48 hours following the closing of the Giveaway and will designate the winner. The winner will be contacted by the Organizer via the email address or phone number provided in the entry form.

The prize draw will designate one (1) winner and one (1) substitute winner, who may receive the prize if it cannot be awarded to the initial winner, for example in the event of no response, non-compliance with the rules, unusable contact details, etc.

If no response is received within 7 calendar days from the sending of the message, or in the event of non-compliance with these Official Rules, the Organizer may award the prize to the substitute winner.

The prize may not be exchanged for cash, refunded or compensated in any form whatsoever and is transferable, provided that the Partner, Hôtel de la Plage Biarritz, is notified. Winners authorize any checks relating to their identity and address, whether postal or online. Any false identity or address information will result in the winner and all their entries being declared void.

4.2 Prize delivery and booking arrangements

After accepting the prize, the winner will be contacted by Hôtel de la Plage de Biarritz to organize and book the stay, using the contact details provided by the Organizer.

The winner undertakes to provide the information required for the booking. In the event of non-cooperation or lack of response preventing the booking from being made within a reasonable period, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel the award of the prize and offer it to the substitute winner, without giving rise to any right to compensation.

Article V: Rules

5.1 Consultation of the rules

- In paper format at Maison Élysée, 88 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, 75008 Paris, during opening hours.

The rules may be modified at any time by the Organizer in the form of an amendment, in compliance with the stated conditions, and published online on the website. This amendment will take effect from the date it is posted online, and any Participant will be deemed to have accepted it by continuing to participate in the Giveaway from the effective date of the amendment. Any Participant who refuses the amendment or amendments must cease participating in the Giveaway.

5.2 Modification / cancellation – force majeure

The Organizer reserves the right, in the event of force majeure, an event beyond its control or a necessity related to the proper functioning of the Giveaway, to modify, postpone, shorten or cancel the Giveaway, without its liability being incurred. Any modification will be announced on the dedicated page of the website https://boutique.elysee.fr/.

Article VI: Connection and use

Participation implies awareness and acceptance of the characteristics and limitations of the Internet, the lack of protection of certain data against possible misappropriation or hacking, and the risks of contamination by any viruses circulating on the network. The organizing company declines all liability in the event of misuse or incidents related to the use of the computer, Internet access, maintenance or malfunction of the Giveaway servers, telephone line or any other technical connection, or the sending of Giveaway forms to an incorrect or incomplete address.

Article VII: Personal data

The Organizer will collect participants’ registration data, namely surname, first name, email address and phone number, for the purposes of managing and organizing the Giveaway, hereinafter referred to as the “Registration Data”. By accepting these Official Rules, participants agree that their Registration Data may be transmitted to the Giveaway Partner.

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679/EU of April 27, 2016:

- The processing of participants’ Registration Data has been declared to the CNIL.
- Participants may exercise their rights of access, rectification, objection and deletion of their Registration Data by contacting the Organizer by email at contact@boutique.elysee.fr.

Participants may also, on legitimate grounds, object to the processing of their data; in this case, such objection may lead them to withdraw from the Giveaway.

In any event, the Organizer undertakes not to disclose to third parties, in any form whatsoever, all or part of the personal data communicated by participants and to take all necessary measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the Registration Data.

Article VIII: Disputes and liability

Participation in this Giveaway implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Official Rules.

If one or more provisions of these general rules are declared null and void or unenforceable, the remaining clauses will retain their full force and effect.

Any inaccurate or false statement, or any fraud, will result in the disqualification of the participant. The Organizer will have sole authority to settle any dispute relating to the Giveaway and its rules.

No telephone or written requests will be answered concerning the interpretation or application of these rules, the mechanisms or procedures of the Giveaway, or the identity of the winner.

In the event of a dispute, only a letter sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt within one month after the announcement of the result will be admissible. The Organizer reserves the right, if circumstances so require, to shorten, extend, modify or cancel this Giveaway in accordance with Article V. Its liability cannot be incurred as a result.

The Organizer may cancel or suspend all or part of the Giveaway if it appears that fraud has occurred in any form whatsoever, in particular through computer means in connection with participation in the Giveaway.

In such a case, the Organizer reserves the right not to award the prize to the fraudulent participant and/or to bring proceedings before the competent courts against the perpetrator or perpetrators of such fraud.

This Giveaway is hosted on the Website. Each participant must comply with its terms of use. The participant also acknowledges having been informed of the website’s general terms of use and privacy policy, which can be consulted directly on the website. The Organizer assumes no liability for the content or use of the Giveaway form.

Article IX: Evidence agreement

Except in the event of obvious errors, it is agreed that the information resulting from the Organizer’s Giveaway systems shall have evidential value in any dispute relating to connection data and the computerized processing of said information relating to the Giveaway.

Article X: Jurisdiction

Participants are subject to the French regulations applicable to games and contests. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably will be submitted to the competent courts designated in accordance with the French Code of Civil Procedure.
