Having fallen into disuse in the 1980s, it was without counting on the know-how and audacity of the Filt 1860 Manufacture, based in Normandy since 1860, to bring it up to date, and make it the It-bag, sought after by the great French Luxury Houses and also for export such as in Japan or the USA.
Its usefulness is no longer in doubt. The traditional net of our grandmothers is robust, practical and extensible. But it is also a timeless accessory, both practical, ecological and trendy.
We are so proud of the know-how of our seamstresses that we write their first names in each of the shopping nets they make.
